Hello and welcome!
With the recent stretch of warm, sunny days, there’s a renewed sense of energy in the air — that wonderful reminder of how good it feels to move, breathe, and enjoy life outdoors. As we ease into summer, it’s a great time to refocus on your wellbeing and feel stronger, more mobile, and more confident in your body. Whether you're looking to get back into a routine or simply feel your best, my classes and 1:1 sessions offer a supportive space to work towards your goals at your own pace. Let’s enjoy this season of vitality together!
That said, I know that as summer truly begins, many of you will be enjoying well-earned holidays with family and loved ones — and rightly so! Just a gentle reminder though, that my classes will continue to run as usual throughout the season, with the exception of a short two-week break in July (weeks commencing 7th and 14th) for my own bit of rest and recharge. So whether you're staying local or just in between trips, you’re always welcome to drop in, stay active, and keep that momentum going. I’ll be here to keep you moving and feeling your best all summer long!

🌞 Start Your Summer in Style at the FitSteps Summer Fiesta! 🌞
We’re delighted to invite you to a fabulous afternoon of fun, fitness, and friendship at the FitSteps Summer Fiesta, taking place locally on Saturday, June 14th from 1pm–4pm at South Wirral High School, Plymyard Avenue, Wirral CH62 8EH.
This special event is the perfect way to ease into summer with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and uplifting music to get you moving at your own pace.
We’re thrilled to be joined by FitSteps creator and ballroom legend Ian Waite, known from Strictly Come Dancing and Dancing With The Stars, who will lead us through a joyful Masterclass that’s as enjoyable as it is energising. 🕺 You'll also take part in a light-hearted, Fiesta-themed workshop where you'll learn a fun new routine that we can bring back to our regular weekly classes. 💃
To round off the afternoon, you'll be dancing along with Me and other wonderful FitSteps instructors in a lively “Teacher Takeover” session — a relaxed, upbeat class where each instructor shares one of their favourite routines

No fancy dress required - just come wearing your regular exercise gear. But if you do want to splash out on something new - Fitsteps have 2 styles of fitness tops especially branded for the event available to buy in their online shop.

🦋 New Gentle Movement & Support Class 🦋
We’re delighted to introduce a new addition to the timetable designed especially for our more mature, female, clientele or ladies who may be managing or recovering from health conditions and who are looking for a gentle, welcoming way to stay active.
Currently this 45-minute standing (or seated) class takes place at the Upton United Reformed Church every Monday from 9.45am to 10.30am, with refreshments and social time afterwards.
From Mid -July it is our hope to move the session to a new home at , St Columba’s Church Hall, Plas Newton Lane at the same times.
Originally created for a group of incredible women brought together through their shared experience of breast cancer, this class has grown into a supportive, uplifting space — and they are now opening their arms to others who would benefit from its mindful and inclusive approach.
Expect a calm and enjoyable session featuring breath work, stretching, simple dance-based movement (often with light equipment), and balance exercises, all tailored to help you feel good in body and mind — with absolutely no need to get down on the floor.

💪 New 5-Week Pilates Block: Summer Sculpt Starts Now! ☀️
Get ready to feel stronger, more toned, and energised as we begin our brand new 5-week block of Pilates, with a special focus on building strength to help you achieve your very own Summer Sculpt!
This series is designed to gently but effectively improve muscle tone, posture, and body awareness — all while staying kind to your joints and working at a pace that suits you.
All you’ll need is your mat and a head cushion — no extra equipment required.
As always, each session is thoughtfully tailored to match the level of the class, so whether you're just starting out or more experienced, you’ll feel supported and challenged in all the right ways.
If due to holidays you know that you won't be able to attend your preferred class time, please do look on gymcatch to see if there is availability in any of the alternative, similarly levelled classes. Due to holidays we currently expect there to be some availability.

✨ Evening Classes Need You! Let’s Keep Them Going Strong ✨
We’d love your help in giving a boost to two of our evening classes that could really benefit from a few more friendly faces to keep them running.
First up is Body Blast — a high-energy session combining HIIT and weight training, ideal for a midweek pick-me-up. It’s especially beneficial for women navigating perimenopause or menopause, with a focus on maintaining muscle mass, strength, and vitality.
We meet every Wednesday 6.15 - 7.15pm @ Upton United Reformed Church
Then there’s our evening FitSteps class — the perfect solution for anyone who can’t make it to our daytime session. This fun, dance-based fitness class is full of feel-good 'strictly' routines that lift your mood, boost your fitness, and leave you smiling!
This session is every Thursday 6.30-7.30pm @ Upton Community Hall, Demage Lane
Both classes are welcoming, supportive, and suitable for all levels, so whether you’re returning to exercise or looking for a new challenge, now’s the time to join in. Grab a buddy and give these sessions a go. Your attendance really will help to keep these sessions alive — we’d love to see you there! 💃💪
