Barre Pilates

The class combines ballet moves with elements of pilates to form a standing workout which can be performed at a ballet bar or for convenience using a high backed chair.

Barre Pilates is a fantastic, low impact, slow paced class providing many benefits:


  • Improves posture

  • Strengthens muscles in legs, ankles and feet

  • Improves pelvic floor muscle control

  • Improves core strength

  • Improves Balance


Sessions are 45 minutes duration with a warm up and cool down incorporated.

These classes are currently only available online (via Zoom) and are timetabled in 6 week blocks (please check timetable)

 No special equipment is required and sessions are performed in gym gear with socked feet.
