Committed to Keeping You Safe

Hi Folks

Here's hoping that you continue to remain well and are looking forward to the easing of restrictions in the area next week.

On hearing that Cheshire was heading back into Tier 2, I had the difficult task of deciding whether to re-open classes in the community or not during December. The pros are obviously that clients who don't or can't engage in online classes had an opportunity to re-join and take part in the lead up to Christmas...Hooray!

However... what about clients who are desperate to see loved ones at Christmas? How would I feel if one or more of our members got Covid from being in one of our classes and at the least were prevented from seeing loved ones or at worst became seriously ill with it?

Despite taking every pre-caution we can, there is always going to be a degree of risk in face to face classes and quite frankly I've decided I'm not willing to take the risk at this time of year. Particularly as I shall be welcoming home my son from University in the next week (super excited to have him home for a bit but conscious that students do mingle!).

So I really hope that you can understand why I've chosen to keep the next few weeks online... and I hope to see as many of you as possible joining in with classes and getting into the festive spirit.

And remember there are so many positives to being online at this time of year....No having to get yourself motivated to leave the house on a cold, dark evening; you're at home to answer the door to all your online xmas shopping deliveries and no travel time required...leaving you oodles of time to shop, wrap, bake or make contact with friends and family.

So what can you expect in December?

In the first two weeks of December we'll be going about business as usual - using the above timetable.

Prices remain the same at £4 per session (or cheaper if you invest in an online 10 class pass) and all bookings are through gymcatch.com.

However.... Check your diaries...we have two extra sessions to look forward to in these first couple of weeks....

1st up.... Monday November 30th, 2-2.45pm, we have the second of our FREE Fitsteps TONE Masterclasses on ZOOM.

This is a class where you get to practice all your favourite Fitsteps dances at a slower pace, whilst using a resistance band to improve posture, balance and strength.

Feedback from week 1, last week, was really positive with folks commenting on how they knew they "had worked their upper arms and shoulders" and how they "enjoyed the slower pace" and 'balance moves'.

If you haven't tried it yet (or you fancy trying a second class) and you have access to a small circular resistance band, do get booked on. You'll even get access to the recording of the class afterwards if you'd like to get practising!

2nd up and brand new to our timetable...

Needing to unwind or de-stress? Then join me from the comfort of your own, candle lit, home for a relaxing, evening pilates session. We'll focus on breathing, lengthening and relaxing tension in this 60min session.

Tuesday 8th December, 7-8pm on Zoom. £4. Bookable through Gymcatch.com

A perfect antidote to the stresses of Covid @ Christmas!

And then ... My Christmas present to you!

As a way of thanking you all for your continued support and to wish you all a very Happy Christmas I'm giving away a week of FREE classes!!!

Starting on Monday 14th December and taking us to our last session before Christmas on Saturday 19th, you are invited to book into as many sessions as you'd like from the above Zoom timetable for FREE.

As is usual in this lead up to the Christmas break, sessions will be Christmas themed and no doubt involve fancy dress or at least wearing a pair of antlers!

I do hope that you'll have your chores all 'wrapped' up by then and be able to join me for some festive fun.

And of course... if you're going to be busy and would prefer flexibility on when to exercise...then why not subscribe to one or both of our online Facebook groups.

These will be available throughout all of December too, so perfect if you want to keep up your exercise throughout the Christmas break!

And last but not least... throughout December I'll be setting you small daily challenges on The Class Fitness Members Facebook Page aiming to take us into the festive season in the best shape possible - both physically and mentally!

Do let me know if you'd like to sign up to this FREE support.

So to recap....

Your usual classes and a week of festive fun will run, 'online' for the first three weeks of December. Then from 19th December - January 5th Class Fitness will close for Christmas (other than for those who are members of the 'on demand' Facebook groups who will have access to classes throughout).

In continued support of your health and well-being,

Di
