Half Term, Hogs and Hola!
We've got lots of news to update you with so grab a brew and tuck in.....
First Up - Please note there are no classes next week (W/C 28 Oct) as we're taking a 'busman's' holiday for half term...albeit in the sun. We're hoping to come home with lots of new ideas for sessions...... so beware!
Classes will return from 4th November with one exception.....
Unfortunately due to continual poor numbers in our Monday Night class it's finally time to accept defeat and let it go.
We've tried advertising, changing the format and bringing on board new instructors but unfortunately we've not found the winning formula in this competitive Monday night market.
So it's with regret that we're closing this class with immediate effect.
Thank you so much to the loyal crew who have continued coming week in, week out and we're really sorry to take this class away from you. Should you like to switch to the Wednesday night Body Blast Class or Thursday night Fitsteps class (both at 6.30pm) we should be delighted to see you and would like to offer you a 50% discount on classes in November and December as a way of thank you.
Club members who are affected by this class closure are to be contacted by Di to discuss the implications on your current monthly payments.
A Huge 'Thank you' to Debs, Hayley and Amanda who have delivered some fabulous sessions over this past year. Should you be keen to know where you can find them teaching their other classes please do get in touch for details.
Not liking to take things away without giving something back however, we're keen to see how much interest we have for adding yoga and pilates barre onto our timetable in the New Year. Taster sessions in the next few weeks are in the process of being arranged with a wonderful local instructor Emma Barwise. Please look out for details and get signed up ASAP as spaces will be limited.
All other classes will be returning as usual, but please note the following venue changes:

Weight loss support @ 9.30am, Burn 'n' Firm @ 10.15am and Pilates @ 11.15am
Move from St Columbas Church to Upton United Reformed Church.
Pilates dates this half term will be:
Tuesday 5th Nov - Tuesday 10th Dec (St Columbas and Hoole Community Centre classes)
Wednesday 6th Nov-Wednesday 11th Dec (Upton United Reformed Church classes)
Please note Tuesday classes are now FULLY BOOKED but 1 or 2 spaces are available in Wednesday evenings. These are available to book at a cost of £36 for the 6 weeks (discounted for members).
It is also possible that a Thursday am pilates session will be added onto the timetable in the New Year - please do let us know if this would interest you.
Also, if you have reserved a HOG, these will be available for you to pick up in classes on the first week back at a cost of £12.
Not wanting to rush us all towards Christmas but have you seen that the early bird offer for booking onto this years Santa Dash is October 31st? As always a group of us will be joining in the fun so feel to sign up and join us on the day.
If you need some practice in readiness, why not join our Thursday am walking /running sessions? Each week you are teamed up with an appropriately paced group to walk/run a minimum of 3-5k in an hour (further if you are able).

Continuing the subject of Christmas please note that final deposits (£19) for our Christmas /New Year party on 3rd Jan will be due in late November. Therefore please do start bringing these into classes after the hols. Menu choices are also to be made in advance - so do see Di in classes for this.

Return Flights on these dates are currently available from Manchester Airport for approximately £130 - exact details of which flights to book onto are yet to be confirmed.
